K12 360 Education Analytics
Executive dashboards and modular frontend packages for district-scale KPI reporting.
January 2020 – March 2022
Analytics platform for K12 leadership teams. React dashboards read Snowflake and REST, with Webpack-bundled modular packages so teams can ship dashboard domains independently.
- Problem
- District executives needed comparable, current KPIs from Snowflake and REST, and more than one team had to ship pieces of that interface without a shared release train.
- Solution
- Built modular dashboard surfaces with React, Redux, and Context. Packaged them for independent delivery. Comparison accordions, client-side caching, dynamic tables, and PDF/CSV export match how districts actually report.
Architecture notes
- Modular packaging is the deployment boundary. A dashboard domain can ship without rebuilding the shell.
- Redux holds cross-view KPI state. Context stays local to a comparison surface so filter state does not become global.
- A client cache sits in front of repeated comparison queries so a filter change does not re-request a Snowflake slice the user already has.
- PDF and CSV export are part of the product. The consumer is a reporting cycle, not only an on-screen chart.
